Not only is Kevin Dotson’s NFL dream coming true, but the lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan was even selected by his favorite team.
The Steelers used the 135th overall pick in the NFL Draft’s fourth round Saturday afternoon to add the University of Louisiana at Lafayette guard to its offensive line depth.
The 6’4″/321-pounder became the first non-Combine participant to be drafted and joins fellow teammate Robert Hunt as the only two UL draftees through the first four rounds.
He made 52 career starts with the Ragin’ Cajuns and was an Associated Press First Team All-American selection last season.
