Tulane men’s basketball lands transfer Cross

According to the Tulane University athletics website, the Green Wave men’s basketball team has landed transfer Kevin Cross.

Cross, an incoming sophomore, signed a grant-in-aid to officially make the transfer over from University of Nebraska.

The 6’8″, 240-pound forward out of Little Rock, Ark. averaged 7.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game over 32 games in his freshman season with the Huskers. He dropped a career-high 23 points and grabbed a career-high nine boards against Indiana on March 11.

While he’ll be required to sit out a season, Cross will join head coach Ron Hunter’s basketball squad on the court in 2021-22.
