Connor Pellerin became the second Tulane University baseball player in the last week or so to join the Major League Baseball ranks.
Pellerin made the decision to forgo his senior season after signing a contract with the New York Yankees.
After going undrafted in the annual MLB Draft, Pellerin was one of five undrafted right-handed college pitchers signed by the Yankees, the team announced yesterday.
As a junior, Pellerin posted a 2.25 earned run average in four innings pitched over his six appearances during the shortened 2020 season.
